Norton Internet Security sucks I recently installed Norton Internet Security on my system (got it for free with my Office 2003 purchase) and quite frankly, it sucks. I've always liked the old Norton Utilities back in the DOS days and really like Norton's Anti-Virus product as well, but this product should have never been released. What's wrong with it? Let me count the ways...... (462 words, 12 Comments)
New version of SharpReader coming soon... And it will be .NET 1.1 only, so if you only have 1.0 installed, you may want to visit windowsupdate.microsoft.com and get the latest version of the .NET framework. Why am I doing this? I previously ran into some .NET bugs when using the 1.0 framework that seem to be resolved in 1.1. I'm sure there are a lot more... (194 words, 23 Comments)
Office 2003 install I just got MS Office 2003 - initial installation was a breeze: fast and problem free. But after that it asked me to check for updates and register. Changing jobs, switching camps Last Friday was my last day on a Java/J2EE project I've been on for the past year and a half. Next week I'll be starting a new contract at another company, this time doing .NET. I'm excited about this opportunity as it should give me a chance to go much more in-depth into .NET than I've been able to do... (269 words, 9 Comments)
